NameTogether (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is designed to help couples choose a baby name together. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices when using the NameTogether mobile application.

1. No Account Required

NameTogether does not require you to create an account or provide personal identity information such as your name, email address, or phone number in order to use the app.

You can begin using the app immediately without registration.

2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to operate and improve the app:

• App Usage Data: anonymous analytics events such as feature usage, screen views, and interaction patterns.
• Device Information: basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app version.
• App Data: swipes, matches, and shared lists needed to synchronize decisions between partners.

This information is not used to personally identify you.

3. Partner Synchronization

When you invite a partner, NameTogether synchronizes shared naming decisions between devices using a generated list or session identifier. This identifier is used only to connect participants within the same shared list.

We do not require personal contact information to connect partners.

4. Analytics

NameTogether uses privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how the app is used, such as which features are helpful and where improvements are needed.

Analytics data is aggregated and does not intentionally identify individual users.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases (such as unlocking Full Access) are processed securely by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We do not receive or store payment card information.

6. How Information Is Used

Information collected is used only to:

• Operate core app functionality
• Synchronize shared name lists
• Improve performance and usability
• Fix bugs and maintain reliability

We do not sell personal data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Information may be processed by trusted service providers strictly for operating the app (such as analytics or hosting services).

8. Data Retention

App data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and maintain shared lists. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for longer periods for product improvement purposes.

9. Children’s Privacy

NameTogether is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

11. Your Choices

You may stop using the app at any time. Removing the app from your device stops further data collection from that device.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last updated” date above.
